Terms
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the Aquathirst website and any commercial water-cooler service we provide. Last updated September 2026.
This website (aquathirst.co.uk) and the water-cooler services described on it are operated by Aquathirst UK Ltd of 7 Crofts Cottage, Chipperfield, WD4 9DX (in these terms, we, us, Aquathirst). By using the website or engaging our services you agree to these terms.
If you have signed up for our home or small-office subscription, the more specific Subscription Terms & Conditions also apply — where the two overlap the subscription terms take precedence.
1.About Aquathirst
Aquathirst UK Ltd is a limited company incorporated in England and Wales, with its registered office at 7 Crofts Cottage, Chipperfield, WD4 9DX. We supply bottled spring water, water coolers, dispensers, filter systems and related equipment to businesses and households across our delivery footprint.
Our general enquiries address is AquathirstUk@outlook.com.
2.Using this website
You may browse this website for personal, non-commercial use and to make legitimate enquiries about our services. You must not use the site to send spam or unsolicited content, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to interfere with the operation of the site, or for any purpose that is unlawful under English law.
We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of the website at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from bugs — we do our best to keep it up, but the site is provided on an “as is” basis.
3.Intellectual property
All content on this website — including copy, photography, logos, graphics, layout and code — is owned by Aquathirst or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, download, post, broadcast, transmit or otherwise use the content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
The Aquathirst name and logo are trademarks of Aquathirst UK Ltd.
4.Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the contact form on this website, or emailing us with a request for information, is an enquiry — it does not by itself create a contract or oblige either party to anything.
When we provide a written quote in response to an enquiry (whether by email, PDF or on-screen), that quote is valid for 30 days from the date it was issued unless we state otherwise on the quote itself. After 30 days we may re-quote to reflect any change in supplier or delivery costs.
5.Business orders and when a contract is formed
A binding contract for the supply of goods or services is formed only when Aquathirst confirms your order in writing (by email or a signed order acknowledgement). Placing an order — whether verbally, in writing, or via our website — is an offer to buy which we may accept or decline.
For customers signing up to our home or small-office subscription, the subscription-specific rules on acceptance, cooling-off, cancellation and equipment are set out in our Subscription Terms & Conditions.
6.Pricing and VAT
Prices published on the website and in written quotes are in GBP and exclude VAT unless clearly marked otherwise. VAT is charged at the applicable rate on the tax invoice.
We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. If we discover a manifest error in a price between the date of a quote and the date we accept your order, we will contact you before proceeding — you may confirm the corrected price or cancel the order.
7.Delivery
We currently deliver within our published UK service area only. Delivery windows quoted at order time are indicative — we will do our best to hit the window but cannot guarantee a specific hour on the day.
If we cannot complete a delivery because nobody is at the delivery address at the agreed time, and no alternative arrangement was made in advance, we may charge a reasonable re-delivery fee to cover our driver time and mileage. We will always tell you first before applying such a fee.
8.Equipment (coolers, dispensers, filters)
Where we install a cooler, dispenser or filter unit on your premises as part of a service arrangement, that equipment remains the property of Aquathirst at all times. You are responsible for its safe-keeping and for keeping it clear of damage other than fair wear and tear.
You must not modify the equipment, attempt to repair it yourself, allow any third party to service it, or move it to a different address without our written consent. Loss or damage caused by anything other than fair wear and tear is chargeable to you at our then-current replacement rates.
9.Payment terms
Unless we have agreed a specific set of account terms with you in writing, invoices are payable on presentation of the tax invoice.
For business customers who are late paying, we may charge statutory late-payment charges under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 — a fixed recovery charge (£40 / £70 / £100 depending on the size of the debt) plus statutory interest at the Bank of England base rate plus 8% per annum, pro-rated by the number of days the invoice is overdue. We will normally contact you before applying any late-payment charge.
10.Our liability
Aquathirst's total liability under or in connection with any contract for goods or services — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Aquathirst in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We shall have no liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of anticipated savings.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence, (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, (c) breach of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where you are a consumer, or (d) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
11.Data protection and privacy
We are the data controller for personal information you provide when you enquire, order or use our services. We process it for the purposes of running the business — responding to your enquiry, delivering water and servicing equipment, taking payment, and complying with our legal obligations (for example, keeping accounting records).
We do not sell your personal data. Full details of how we handle it are in our Privacy Policy. For details of the cookies our website uses, see our Cookie Policy.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example to reflect changes to our service, a new supplier relationship, or a change in the law. The current version is always the version published on this page, marked with the “Last updated” date shown below.
Where a change materially affects a contract you already have with us, we will contact you separately to explain.
13.Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any dispute arising out of them or your use of the website or our services are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any such dispute.
14.Contact us
Questions about these terms, or about a specific enquiry or order, should go to AquathirstUk@outlook.com. We aim to reply within two working days.
