Boiling water taps
Boiling water taps for office kitchens
Single-action 100°C taps with a child-safe lock, fitted by our engineers and supplied with full servicing on a single monthly fee. Across the UK.
The case for the tap
A neater alternative to the kettle
Most office kettles get boiled the same volume of water all day, even when only one cup is needed. A boiling water tap pours exactly what the cup needs, when the cup needs it, and disappears into the worktop the rest of the time. The kettles go in the drawer (or out the door), the worktop is back, and the office tea round gets a lot faster.
We have installed boiling taps in offices of every size, from two-person startups to multi-floor agencies. The technology is mature, the safety lock is straightforward, and the running cost works out very close to a busy kettle.
What we install
Finishes, formats and options
We supply commercial boiling water taps in three finishes — brushed steel, gloss black and matt — all at the same price. The under-counter unit is the same size across finishes, so it fits the same cabinet footprint regardless of the look you pick.
Single-action boiling-only taps
The straightforward option: one tap, one outlet, 100°C boiling water on demand. Fits alongside your existing kitchen tap or replaces a dedicated hot water dispenser. Best for offices that already have a chilled water source and only need to address the kettle.
4-in-1 taps with chilled, ambient and sparkling
A single fixture that pours boiling, chilled, ambient and sparkling filtered water. The cabinet space stays the same as a single tap. Best for offices that want to remove bottled water, kettles and a separate cooler all in one go. See more on sparkling taps and dispensers.
Built-in filtration
Every boiling tap we install includes a point-of-use filter that removes chlorine, sediment and heavy metals. The filter is changed on your scheduled service visit and included in the monthly fee. The water tastes noticeably better than what comes through the kettle.
How installation works
Survey, install, service
- 01
Free site survey
We come to your office, check the under-counter space, look at the plumbing and the nearest power socket, and answer any questions. About thirty minutes.
- 02
Fixed monthly quote
Written quote covering the tap, the under-counter unit, installation, scheduled servicing, filter changes and breakdown cover. One monthly fee, no callout charges.
- 03
Installation
Our engineer arrives in a marked van and uniform, fits the tap and the boiler unit, runs through the controls with the team and tidies up. Most installs finish in under an hour.
- 04
Servicing
Filter changes happen on a schedule that suits the level of usage. A breakdown gets a same-day or next-day engineer response, included in the monthly fee.
Common questions
Boiling water taps, answered
Are boiling water taps safe in a workplace?
Yes. All the taps we install have a child-safe lock that must be pressed before the boiling water is released. The lever then needs to be held down for water to flow. In two decades of installs we have not had a safety incident.
How much electricity does a boiling tap use?
Modern boiling taps are insulated and well controlled. Typical office usage is around 10p to 30p per day in electricity, which compares well with a busy kettle being boiled six or seven times a day.
Will it replace the kettle entirely?
For most offices, yes. Tea and coffee, instant noodles, hot water for cleaning — all of it comes from the tap. A few of our customers keep a kettle in a drawer for the occasional power cut.
What about chilled or sparkling water?
Our 4-in-1 systems combine boiling with chilled, ambient and sparkling from the same fixture. Worth considering if you would otherwise need a separate cooler.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are completed in under an hour by one of our engineers. We need access to the under-sink area and a nearby plug socket. We will check both during a free site survey.
What does it cost?
It varies with the model and the level of service cover. Typical office accounts sit between £45 and £120 per month, including the equipment, installation, filter changes and 24-hour breakdown cover. We will provide a fixed monthly quote once we have seen the space.
